# Set Up Lipa Namba

> Activate TanQR/Lipa Namba in the ClickPesa Merchant Dashboard

## Before You Start

Make sure you have:

* A **verified ClickPesa merchant account** with completed KYC
* Your **business profile** filled in (business name, email, and phone)
* The **TanQR/Lipa Namba activation fee** (250,000 TZS) ready to pay when prompted

  TanQR/Lipa Namba is being rolled out to merchants in phases. If you do not see the option in your dashboard, email [support@clickpesa.com](mailto:support@clickpesa.com) to request access.

## Activation Steps

### 1. Open Collection Settings

1. Log in to your [Merchant Dashboard](https://merchant.clickpesa.com).
2. Go to **Settings → Collection**.
3. Under **Checkout and In-Store Collection**, find **TANQR - Lipa Namba**.

### 2. Complete KYC (if not already done)

If your account is not yet verified, complete KYC under **Settings → KYC** before activation.

### 3. Pay the Activation Fee

Toggle on **TANQR - Lipa Namba** and complete the one-time activation payment of **250,000 TZS** when prompted.

### 4. Register Your Business Details

After payment, complete the registration form:

| Field                    | Description                                                                         |
| ------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Store type**           | Choose **Physical Store** (in-person location) or **Online Store** (website or app) |
| **Business category**    | Select the category that best describes your business                               |
| **Business description** | A short description of what you sell or the services you offer                      |
| **Location**             | Required for physical stores — select your business location                        |
| **Store URL**            | Required for online stores — enter your website or checkout URL                     |

Your business name, email, and phone are taken from your ClickPesa profile.

### 5. Activate and Receive Your Lipa Namba

Submit the form to register. Once successful:

* Your **Lipa Namba** (merchant code) appears in Collection settings
* Your **QR code** is generated and ready to use
* You can open **View Details & QR Code** to preview your branded poster

## Download Your TanQR Poster

1. In **Settings → Collection**, open **View Details & QR Code** on your active TanQR method.
2. Review your Lipa Namba, store details, and QR preview.
3. Click **Download TanQR Poster** to save a print-ready image.

Display the poster at your counter, entrance, or payment desk, or share your QR code and Lipa Namba online so customers can pay.

## Managing Your Lipa Namba

* **View your Lipa Namba** anytime under **Settings → Collection**.
* **Toggle the method** on or off using the switch next to TANQR - Lipa Namba.
* **Track payments** in your dashboard transactions list like any other ClickPesa collection.
